When Allante lost his job as a Night Shift Supervisor at a steel service center and metal processing facility due to downsizing in the summer of 2025, he found himself facing an unexpected crossroads.
He set his sights on a new union career in commercial driving, one that offered strong earning potential, good benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Allante enrolled in Minnesota Training Partnership's Hennepin County Dislocated Worker Program and SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) program. Alea's Success Story
Alea joined MTP’s WESA program ready to build a more stable future, and she found the support, tools, and encouragement she needed to move forward with confidence. Alea completed OSHA-10, sharpened her job readiness skills, and embraced the hard work it takes to grow. Her dedication paid off when she secured a new role as a Behavioral Health Aide, a position that aligns with her compassion and long-term career goals.
