Union-Sponsored Training

Minnesota Training Partnership works with union partners, businesses, and other organizations to coordinate and administer training and apprenticeship programs that help union members advance in their careers and gain new skills.  These specialized programs are  available to current union members determined to be eligible by their union and employer.  

Training programs include:

• Green Janitor Education Program (GJEP) for members of SEIU Local 26
•  Janitor English for members of SEIU Local 26

Registered Apprenticeship Programs include:

• Window Cleaning over 24 Feet for members of SEIU Local 26
• Community Safety Specialist for members of SEIU Local 26
• Broadband Technician Registered Apprenticeship Program for members of CWA
• Meat Cutters Registered Apprenticeship Program for members of UFCW 1189

In addition:  If you or a family member are enrolled in one or more of these programs, or plan to be, you may also qualify for additional help and resources through SNAP E&T!
