In partnership with area unions, Minnesota Training Partnership provides a wide range of training programs that help people advance in their careers or start new ones.
The training programs listed below may be open for enrollment, for individuals who qualify. There is no cost for you to participate. Follow the links for more information.


· Unionized construction and manufacturing businesses in Minnesota are looking for workers. These jobs pay well and offer good benefits and working conditions.
· Our program provides short-term, flexible online training; connections to employers and apprenticeships; and resources you need to be successful.
· The program is available to qualifying women residents of Minnesota who are BIPOC, or low-income, or over 50 years.

· Union employment as a Clinic Assistant in a health care setting pays well, offers good benefits, and can be a great choice for people who want to develop and use their administrative, customer service, and health care skills.
· Now enrolling for early 2026. Some training will be provided at Saint Paul College.

Unionized construction and manufacturing businesses in Minnesota are looking for more trained workers.
These jobs pay well and come with good benefits and working conditions. Our in-person and online services will help train and connect you to these jobs with specialized assistance that meets the needs of busy adult learners. Some training and services be held at Saint Paul College.

· Would you enjoy working with food and people in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality setting? Consider short-term training for a union job in the culinary arts at a local hotel, restaurant, convention center, or catering company. You’ll prepare distinctive food and beverages while providing service that delights discerning guests.
· Program to start in early 2026. Some training will be provided at Saint Paul College.

· Are you a resident of the City of Minneapolis? Are you looking for help finding a good job, quickly?
· Our Minneapolis Community Works program will provide you with a full range of employment services, personalized to your needs. Staff will work with you one-to-one regarding job applications, resumes, identifying good union jobs, interviewing, and much more. Program services are now available.

· In partnership with UFCW 1189 and UFCW, in 2026 MTP will provide a short-term career training program for entry-level careers in the cannabis industry. We expect to launch the program in late spring or summer 2026. Continue to watch our website for more details as they become available. Interested in taking part?
